A name or place entered in a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its response. We do not keep a separate site log of those search terms.

Its published material explains how to reach Salt Lake County courts, the Sheriff's Office, the Utah Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Identification, UDC, and the Utah Sex, Kidnap, and Child Abuse Offender Registry. Visitor data is not used to create consumer reports or third-party criminal histories, and this site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
